This month I visit Hook Lake in Hertfordshire, said to be the most haunted fishing lake in England. This stunning old estate lake is home to 'The Boy', a white spirit which frequents the banks and nearby woods during the hours of darkness. It has been run as an exclusive syndicate for many years, fished by the likes of Dave Lane & Ian Chilcott, holding English strain carp to 36lb-plus.
